Rotonda a mare “A dream between Sea and Land”


From 1930s and 1940s the tourism increases in Senigallia. The Rotonda a mare represents this trend, a famous monument, a true icon shaping the town’s identity  and epitomizing its ambitions.

In 2006 the Rotonda was reopened to the public. This venue is able to match and blend in the same space, entertainment functions, and events promoting tourism in the whole region. It is presented as a venue available to all to exibition original proposals from all areas of contemporary culture.

Gradara Castle


Gradara Castle is a medieval fortress that is located in the town of Gradara, Marche, in Italy. It is protected by two walls, the outermost of which extends for almost 800 meters, making it the imposing structure. Particularly striking is the view of the fortress and the underlying historical village at night. The castle is one of the most visited monuments in the region and is the scene of museum events, musical and artistic.

Gradara was, by geographical position, since ancient times a crossroads of traffic and people. Legend has it that the castle was the scene of the famous and tragic love story of Paolo and Francesca, caught in each other’s arms and killed by Gianciotto, Francesca’s husband. This love story was immortalized by Dante in his Divine Comedy.



Loreto, a small town of Ancona Province, is know al lover the world fot its Sanctuary that makes i tone of the most important places of pilgrimage and pray for the Catholics.

The believers  go to Loreto  to  give prays of devotion to the ruins of the Holy House where Jesus lived in Nazareth. The cathedral  built in the Renaissance period by famous architects like: Giovanni Alberti, Baccio Pontelli, Bramante. The façade of the church was erected in 1571 by Francesco Boccalini and was finished 1587 by Lattanzio Ventura, who fortified Loreto and gave it the privileges of a town. The cupola due to Giuliano di Sangallo has a diameter of 22meter  and it is the third cupola the most important in Italy.  You will admire the bell tower drawn by famous  Luigi Vanvitelli between in 1750 and 1755. The square outside the Sanctuary ends in the norther and western sides with the Apostles Palace and the Fountain Maggiore.

As far as we can know the town was populated already during Roman Age. The origins of the built-up area should however be traced back to around the 1000 year, when the village was mentioned as Curtis into an imperial Act by Federico I, as an ancient golden medallion reporting the restored words “Theodoricus pius princeps invictus semper”; now it is kept at the delle Terme Museum in Rome.

The village of Corinaldo


The medieval city of Corinaldo is a special place to visit. A wall surrounding the village and its famous staircase of a hundred steps towards which converge the red brick houses arranged in a herringbone pattern.
This fantastic citadel is considered one of the most beautiful villages in Italy and boasts the birthplace of Santa Maria Goretti.


The Frasassi Caves


The Frasassi Caves  are a remarkable karst cave system in the municipality of Genga, Italy, in the province of Ancona. The caves, discovered by a group of Ancona speleologists in 1971.

Rich in water, the cave system is particularly well endowed with stalactites and stalagmites. You can admire little lakes, rooms with arabesque of cristal and alabaster.

Mount Conero, just south of Ancona, provides the only really rugged coastline in the Marche, rising spectacularly out of the sea to a height of just over 500 metres.
There are different spectacular  landscapes and environments in the protected area.
The mountain is the paradise for bird watchers and who loves mountain biking, hiking and horseback riding.
